Cariemove is one of novel caries removing systems.i.e. Chemo mechanical Caries Removal (CMCR). It contains amino acids, sodium hypochlorite carboxyglycine and excepients. The use of minimal invasive dentistry and attention to patient comfort is of utmost importance especially for the school children and anxious and uncooperative patients. This demanded the newer patient friendly technique in dentistry amongst which is the Chemo mechanical caries removal (CMCR). CMCR involves the selective caries removal of carious dentine. As only the carious dentine is removed the painful removal of sound dentine is avoided and the anxiety due to the vibration of the handpiece is also reduced thus it appears to be more comfortable to the patient. CMCR although more prolonged procedure, is effective in caries removal.
Indication: 
Thus CMCR is an effective alternate method for caries removal; it is more conservative and more comfortable for the patients. - Atraumatic restorative technique - Filling in pedodontics especially for large cavities - Teeth to be restored with adhesive materials such as resin composite or glass ionomer (not recommended for amalgam restorations or inlays.
APPLICATION:  Make routine isolation of teeth o Apply suitable amount of the gel in the intended tooth (cavity) and wait for 30 seconds. o Start excavation using sharp excavator and remove soften caries. o Rinse thoroughly with air/water o Procedures could be repeated with shorter times (15 seconds) till removing all carious dentine. o It is recommended to use alkaline subase as calcium hydroxide ceramoseal or D.M Cal after using this techniques.
Side effects:
Side effects are extremely rare including hypersensitivity. Storage: Always close the syringe immediately after use. It is recommended to withdraw the plunger shortly after use and clean the nozzle of the syringe needle.
