The Egyptian Dental Contest, the main event of the EDD, between the outstanding dental students of Egypt comes to support the opportunities for wide communication between all of the Egyptian universities through an excellent academic competition in the field of dentistry.
The competition will be held in its 9th edition after eight consecutive successful years of enthusiasm, giving and dedicated efforts from all the participating universities.
The last edition of the contest was held this year at MUST University, with 16 Egyptian universities participating, and resulted in Fayoum University winning the contest.
To highlight the image from which the flame of the contest was launched among the students during the past years. In addition to the contest, the program of the EDD includes another scientific program in the form of a scientific conference for the dental students, including theoretical lectures, live shows and workshops in various fields of modern dentistry, presented by a selection of the best lecturers from different universities.
And in the new year of 2022, we have been keen to develop the programs offered through competitions and conferences for dental students.
This development came through the expansion of the circle of participation between different universities and the extension of participation outside the capital of Egypt, Cairo to facilitate the attendance and to ensure as wide coverage as possible for all the Egyptian universities.
We also strive to provide an integrated event through offering the opportunity for the foreign students residing in Egypt to participate in this contest as a whole new idea that allows Egyptian and foreign students to participate in this great scientific festival
