<p><strong></strong><strong>EndoStar S Finders</strong> are special endodontic instruments which are used for searching, localizing and penetrating the canal. This endo rotary files are Thin, flexible and firm. These S-finders are very good hand and machine driven instruments, especially when used in thin and curved canals. The rotary files are easily differentiated by orange handle (color not used in ISO standard). They also have an etched millimeter scale on the blades for determination of canal depth. <ul><li> The handpiece should run at 300 rpms. The operating speed of the handpiece should be constant throughout the shaping process.</li><li> Do not apply excessive force. It is recommended that the rotation in the CW direction should be in the range of 90° to 270° and in the CCW direction in the range 30° to 90°, so that the net rotation in the CW direction in each cycle is in the range of 60° to 240°, which means a full 360 CW rotation (according to clockwise) after 1.5 to 6 cycles.</li></ul>

Next, prepare the canal with hand instruments as specified in the Endostar E3 Azure Basic clinical instruction.</li><li>Preparation of the upper part of the root canal : Shape the canal orifice with the use of the Endostar E3 Azure Basic No. 1 (08/30) file until delicate resistance is detectable. Do not apply excessive force to the instrument especially in highly curved canals. </li><li>Preparation of the middle portion of the root canal : Begin to work with file No. 2 from the Endostar E3 Azure Basic (06/25). Perform up and down movements. Work to maximum of 1/2 of working length. Inspect the working length with the size 15 hand file and apex locator. Next, witl-the use of file No. 3 which is part of the E3 Azure Basic (04/30), try to go a few millimeters deeper down the canal. If the file cannot go deeper down the canal, do not force it. Finish the preparation with the Endostar E3 Azure Basic and continue with the Endostar E3 Azure Small. </li><li>Shaping of the apical part of the root canal: With the use of file No. 1 from the Endostar E3 Azure Small (06/20) shape the canal a few millimeters down. Do not force the instrument down the canal. Take file No. 2 (04/25) and continue to shape the canal. Stop working 2 mm before reaching full working length. Use file No. 3 (04/20) until full working length is reached. File No. 3 (04/20) allows shaping even of very narrow and extremely curved canals. Next, go back to file No. 2 (04/25) and use it until full working length is reached.</li><li>Widening the root canal: After checking the apical width with the NiTi file, consider widening the canal with file No. 3, which is part of the Endostar E3Azure Basic (04/30) set. Skip this step in extremely curved canals and finish shaping at size 04/25. <span></span></li></ul>

<p>GPR Endostar instruments are used for removal of old gutta percha filling from the root canal system.
GPR Endostar set consists of 4 instruments of different sizes and tapers marked with numbers from 1 to 4.
The instruments are rather aggressive and should be used with standard endodontic motors working
150 - 300 rpm.
They remove the old gutta percha filling with great efficiency, enabling the dentists to do the re-endo
procedures or some other endodontic treatment. GPR refills consist 6 instruments of the same size.
They are packed in white box, with a silver Endostar label.

<p><strong>How to use them: </strong></p>
<ol><li> Apply a rubber dam (recommended). </li><li>Use GPR size 1 for the coronal part of the canal to remove the part of the guttapercha from 1/3 to 2/3 of
the canal. If the instrument is too thick use smaller instrument sizes 2,3 or 4. </li><li>Use smaller instrument to remove gutta percha from the next part of the canal, repeat the procedure until
you reach the apical part of the canal. Irrigate the canal as required.

Do not use this file when the canal is highly curved (in such cases use the Endostar E3 Azure Small).</li><li>Preparation of the middle part of the root canal : Begin to work with file No. 2(06/25). Perform up-and-down movements. Shape the canal up to 2/3 of the working length. Inspect the working length with the size 15 hand file and apex locator. Next, insert file No. 2 at full working length. </li><li>Shaping of the apical part of the root canal : Use file No. 3 (04/30) to widen the apical portion of the canal until full working length is reached. Confirm that full working length was reached with hand file size 15 and apex locator. Next, finish work with a nickel-titanium hand file size 30. Check if the file can be inserted at full working length without obstructions, and if wedging can be felt. If a wider preparation of the apex is needed, continue to work with larger hand instruments size 35, 40 etc. or consider using the Endostar E3 Azure Big.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Endostar NT2 NiTi Two Rotary System</strong> is used for root canal preparation with conventional method.</p>
<ol><li>Prepare the cavity using rubber dam.</li><li>Locate all root canals. Fill out the canal orifice with liquid. Restore patency of all canals about 2 - 3mm from the apex with K-file 15. In the case of very curved and narrow canals use hand instrument size 6, 8, or 10.</li><li>Determine the working length of the root canal using hand file, X-ray or apex-locator.</li><li>Develop the canal orifice using rotary files with greater taper (6 or 8) or use Peeso or Gates reamers.</li><li>Start preparation with a file taper 2 size 20, develop full working length, and subsequently work with instruments 2/25, 2/30, etc. until the desired size is reached.</li><li>Frequently rinse the root canal.</li></ol>
